Beyond our current venues we are about to launch four city centre venues, a large scale outdoor event space and a new prestige marketplace in 2025 followed by our biggest ever multi use events venue provisionally scheduled for a Summer 2026 opening.

GENERAL MANAGER
We are looking for multiple general managers to join us across our venues. This role is split between off shift venue administration and planning alongside hands on venue running.
You will be leading an independent venue delivering high capacity events at the same time as ensuring a high level of service for day to day bar service. This is a role designed for an ambitious GM who wants to take charge creatively and operationally of one of Manchester’s most exciting indie bars/event spaces to make their mark. The applicant must be committed to driving top notch standards to ensure every guest has a fantastic experience.
This is a full time role (40 hours) with a starting salary of £30k per annum with enhanced pay rate available for sustained excellent delivery in role.
Key responsibilities
Launch and oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable service.
Effective management of rotas, employee relation issues and recruitment.
Ensuring compliance throughout the business, with the team being fully trained to the correct level.
Build, train, and motivate a large, high-performing team.
Manage budgets and control costs.
Assist in the curation of a dynamic, independent and exciting beverage offering
Input in to creative process for internal event creation for small and large scale events.
Required attributes
Previous experience in a general manager role or extensive experience in a deputy general manager role.

OFFICE & FINANCE MANAGER
We are looking for a new office and finance manager based in our Red Bank office covering the requirements of GRUB, Fairfield Social Club, CAFF, CULTPLEX alongside our new city centre operations.
This will be a dynamic role where you will be responsible for the day to day management of the office functions supporting the wider head office team and at the same time managing the financial functions of the entire GRUB business group. Key tasks would include book keeping, payroll services, accounts payable and credit control activities alongside management of the venue event calendars, administration of the business mailboxes, overseeing IT access etc.
You will be in charge of a rapidly expanding business with a burgeoning head office team which will be challenging in the first instance. The applicant must be committed to driving efficiencies in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the business overall.
