From our roots at Mayfield to citywide takeovers, GRUB has grown into one of Manchester’s most loved curators of independent food and drink events, supporting hundreds of traders, chefs and makers along the way.

What started as a grassroots street food project in a forgotten corner of Manchester quickly became something much bigger. GRUB helped shape the city’s independent food scene long before street food became the norm, creating spaces where emerging traders could take risks, experiment, and build loyal followings.

Over the years, GRUB has transformed warehouses, car parks, depots and unloved spaces into vibrant community destinations filled with street food, live music, markets, art, film, comedy and culture. Always independent. Always people-first.

Today, GRUB operates across a growing family of venues and experiences, alongside festivals, pop-ups, screenings, takeovers and cultural events across the city.
